A recent installation for Bluepoint Technologies involved using Cannon cabinets and raceways as pictured above. Installation included siting all the cabinets, installing the connecting raceway products and power distribution, as well as the installation of the structured cabling system including Brand-Rex Cat6Plus copper cabling and OM3 multimode fibre with LC terminations.

Recently completed projects from Bluepoint Technologies include a Brand-Rex Cat6Plus, Cat6 installation for Travelers Insurance. We have also completed another Brand-Rex SMARTPatch installation using 10Gig Cat6A SFTP copper cabling complete with a 96 core intelligent infrastructure fibre backbone for the Ministry of Defence. Both projects have been completed and are now fully functioning at the clients sites within budget and timescale.

On 17th April 2011 Daniel Stoodley is going to be doing the most challenging thing he has ever done, run a London Marathon, in aid of CLIC Sargent, a charity very close to his heart. Last year the child of a close friend was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor, which was treated and he is currently in remission. Throughout this traumatic period CLIC Sargant, the children’s cancer charity, were there with the family to provide clinical, practical and emotional support to the family.
Motivated by the commitment of everyone at CLIC Sargant, Daniel has decided to run the London marathon to raise money in support of this fantastic charity. Running with a friend from his vilage, they have set a target of raising £4000 for CLIC, and to date have raised over £2000.

Bluepoint Technologies recently completed an installation for one of our Government Research customers. The installation included new SAN cabling, which used Brand-Rex 48 core OM3 fibre optic cabling terminated onto 800 LC connectors and 1400 Brand-Rex Cat6Plus Category 6 links. The work was completed within timescale and included connecting the existing network to the new network during the weekend, enabling the systems to be available at the beginning of the working week for the scientists.
