Bluepoint Technologies has been granted an ECS Remote Invigilation Assessment Licence.

The licence, issued by the Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS) enables Bluepoint Technologies staff to complete ECS training and qualifications in-house with accredited, secure online invigilation.

Bluepoint Technologies Managing Director Kathryn Aves commented, “The ECS remote invigilation gives our team more time and flexibility for their professional development, but also saves on miles, which contributes positively to our carbon footprint.”

Primarily used for Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) assessments, the ECS remote invigilation licence has been extended to include support FESS Systems Operatives and Network Infrastructure Awareness.

What is the ECS?

The Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS) is the sole ID and competence card scheme for electrotechnical operatives in the UK and is recognised and endorsed by the industry.

Holding an ECS card proves qualification status, main electrical occupation, identity, health and safety awareness, as well as any additional work skills.

The ECS is a partner of CSCS and covers not just core electrotechnical occupations, but specialised industries such as building controls, data communications, highway electrical and fire & security.
