Bluepoint Technologies gains Cyber Essentials accreditation for 4th year running

Bluepoint is delighted to announce that for the 4th year running, it has gained Cyber Essentials accreditation.

What is Cyber Essentials?

Cyber Essentials is a UK government-backed certification scheme designed to help organisations protect themselves against common online threats and demonstrate their commitment to cybersecurity. The scheme was introduced in 2014 and is managed by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), a part of GCHQ (Government Communications Headquarters).

Fourth year running!

After a series of assessments carried out by the governing body, Bluepoint’s IT systems were found to be performing to the required security standard. These assessments evaluate a system’s response to the most common cyber threats, in particular attacks like hacking, phishing and password guessing.

Bluepoint are thrilled to have been awarded the accreditation for a 4th year. As well as helping guard against cyber-attacks, the accreditation is also a valuable demonstration of commitment to cyber security to Bluepoint’s customers and suppliers.
