Acoustica is a specialist engineering company involved in the control of industrial and environmental noise and vibration. With customer names including Rolls Royce, British Airways and GSK, they are a key player in the noise control industry. 

Part of their recent acquisition by Elta Group saw them relocating to a detached and prominent 14,380 sq. ft. industrial building on the popular Whitehall Industrial Estate in Colchester, Essex. 

Bluepoint Technologies were chosen as the preferred installation partner to supply and install the data cabling and associated works for their new building. 

Bluepoint’s project management team undertook an initial site survey and then produced the relevant site drawings required. In total Bluepoint used 1,500 meters of Cat6 HellermannTyton cable, installing 76 network outlets and two analogue line links for fire alarms and security systems, as well as a 21U floor standing cabinet and all of the relevant containment required to finish the project.
